Truck strikes house in Coldwater


A truck struck a house in the 300 block of West Walnut 

A vehicle struck a home on West Walnut Street in Coldwater, leading to both the driver and one of the occupants of the house being injured, according to investigators.

59 year old John Wenning was driving in the area when police believe he suffered a medical condition. Wenning drove through several stop signs and through a yard before striking the house in the 300 block of West Walnut, according to Coldwater Police Chief Jason Miller.

Miller said there were four people inside the home, and one of those people became trapped under the debris. 77 year old Sharon Zizleman, was rescued from under the debris and taken to the hospital. The other three people in the house were not injured,

Zizleman and Wenning’s injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
