Marion crash kills Bucyrus truck driver

A Bucyrus man was killed in a four-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Marion.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 10:40 a.m. on South State Street near Gurley Avenue.

Investigators said a tractor-trailer struck three parked vehicles before traveling off the road. The truck then hit two utility poles, an embankment and a house before overturning.

The driver, 41-year-old Thomas Brown of Bucyrus, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said Brown was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
