St. Marys man indicted on five unlawful sexual conduct charges

WAPAKONETA — A 35-year-old St. Marys man has been indicted on five felony charges involving alleged sexual conduct with a minor.

An Auglaize County grand jury indicted Chrystyan S. Kline on five counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Each charge is a third-degree felony.

The indictment alleges the offenses occurred in Auglaize County between Aug. 24 and Sept. 24. Prosecutors allege Kline, who is more than 10 years older than the alleged victim, engaged in sexual conduct with a person between the ages of 13 and 15.

Court records show an arrest warrant was issued following the indictment. The Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office executed the warrant Friday morning and took Kline into custody.

The case has been assigned number 2026-CR-0107 in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court.

The charges are allegations. Kline is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
