St. Marys City Council to consider Spring Street improvement agreement

St. Marys City Council to consider Spring Street improvement agreement

St. Marys City Council will meet Monday evening to consider an agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation for proposed improvements along Spring Street.

Resolution 2026-17 would authorize the city’s director of public service and safety to enter into the agreement. The project would cover Spring Street from Main Street to the bridge over the St. Marys River.

Council will also consider emergency legislation making appropriations for city expenses and expenditures through the end of the 2026 fiscal year.

Additional new legislation would accept the 2026 Auglaize County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan.

Council is also scheduled to give a second reading to a resolution accepting tax amounts and rates determined by the county Budget Commission. The measure would authorize the necessary tax levies and certify them to the county auditor.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday in council chambers at the St. Marys City Building.
