Nine blood drives scheduled across Mercer County in October

DAYTON, Ohio — Versiti Blood Center of Ohio will host nine community blood drives across Mercer County in October. Residents are encouraged to schedule an appointment and help support the blood needs of local hospitals and patients.

• Mercer County Sheriff's Office: Friday, Oct. 2, 8-11 a.m., Mercer County Sheriff's Office Garage, 4835 state Route 29, Celina, OH 45822.
• Fort Recovery American Legion: Monday, Oct. 5, 3-6 p.m., Fort Recovery Legion Social Hall, 2490 state Route 49, Fort Recovery, OH 45846.
• Coldwater American Legion Post 470: Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1-7 p.m., Coldwater American Legion, 601 N. Second St., Coldwater, OH 45828.
• Signature 4: Thursday, Oct. 15, 9-11:30 a.m., 149 Harvest Drive, Coldwater, OH 45828.
• Celina Moose Lodge #1473: Thursday, Oct. 15, 1-5 p.m., 1120 E. Market St., Celina, OH 45822.
