Celina-Mercer County Chamber Highlights Upcoming Community Events
CELINA — Several community events are planned across Mercer County in the coming weeks, according to Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce Director Stacy Beougher.
The Celina Farmers Market will return Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at the Mercer County Fairgrounds. Vendors will offer homemade, home-produced and homegrown products. This week’s family activity will be led by the St. Marys Arts Center. The market operates throughout the year.
The Celina-Mercer County Combined Services Appeal is also underway. Contributions benefit 16 local organizations, and donors may support the entire campaign or designate specific recipients. More information is available at mercercountycombinedservices.org.
The Mercer County Council on Aging will conduct a community garage sale September 17 through 20 at 217 Riley Street in Celina. Proceeds will support programs and services for senior citizens throughout Mercer County.
The Grand Lake Walk to End Alzheimer’s is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, at Wright State University–Lake Campus. Registration information is available through the Grand Lake Walk to End Alzheimer’s Facebook page.
A community blood drive is planned from 2:30 until 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, at the Mercer County Fairgrounds. The drive will be conducted by Versiti Blood Center, Mercer Health’s blood-donation partner. Appointments may be scheduled at donate.versiti.org.
Downtown Celina will hold its annual Fall Fest on Saturday, October 3. The event will include food trucks, craft vendors and activities for children.
