Two St. Marys Residents Indicted on Intimidation and Aggravated Menacing Charges

Two St. Marys residents have been indicted by an Auglaize County grand jury on charges stemming from alleged conduct on August 9.

48-year-old Tara Marie Beaver and 31-year-old Tylor Wayne Withrow are each charged with third-degree felony intimidation of a victim and first-degree misdemeanor aggravated menacing. Beaver also faces an additional fourth-degree felony charge of disrupting public service.

According to Beaver’s indictment, prosecutors allege she attempted through force or unlawful threats to influence, intimidate or hinder the victim of a crime in connection with the filing or prosecution of criminal charges or proceedings.

Beaver is also accused of disrupting public service. The indictment alleges she damaged or tampered with property in a way that interrupted or impaired communications or another public service.

Her third count, aggravated menacing, alleges she caused another person to believe she would cause serious physical harm to that person, their property or a member of their immediate family.

Withrow’s indictment contains similar allegations. Prosecutors accuse him of attempting through force or unlawful threats to influence, intimidate or hinder a crime victim in the filing or prosecution of criminal charges.

Withrow is also charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly causing another person to believe he would cause serious physical harm.

Both indictments allege the offenses occurred on or about August 9 in Auglaize County. The grand jury returned true bills in both cases.

The charges are allegations, and Beaver and Withrow are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
