Lake Improvement Association To Host May Meeting With Grand Lake Recreation Club, Pontoon Drawing

The Lake Improvement Association will hold its next monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2nd, at the Celina Moose.

This month’s featured speaker will be Brad Fisher, President of the Grand Lake Recreation Club. Fisher will discuss the Rec Club’s recent and upcoming projects, along with one of its popular events, the Bicycle Poker Run.

The meeting will also include water quality updates from Wright State University Lake Campus Biology Professor Dr. Stephen Jacquemin, state park updates from Grand Lake St. Marys State Park Manager David Faler, and additional lake improvement updates.

The meeting will also feature the live drawing for the 2025 Viaggio pontoon, presented with The Boathouse at Grand Lake.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Doughnuts and coffee will be available.

The meeting will be held at the Celina Moose, located at 1120 East Market Street in Celina.

The Lake Improvement Association meets the first Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. at the Celina Moose. The organization’s mission is to make improvements to Grand Lake St. Marys and its facilities while promoting a clean and healthy lake for public use.
