Coldwater Council Holds Final Reading On Utility Rate Ordinance, Second Street Project Begins

Coldwater Village Council held the third and final reading Monday night of an ordinance that would increase the village’s water, sewer and storm rates.

Coldwater Village Manager Jason Eyink said Ordinance 1775 was among the items discussed during the meeting.

Council members were also updated on the Second Street reconstruction project, which began Monday. The project affects State Route 118 through town and will close Second Street from Walnut Street to Sycamore Street for the next few weeks.

Eyink said council also entered executive session to discuss personnel matters.

The next Coldwater Village Council meeting is scheduled for May 11th. That meeting time has been changed to 6:30 p.m.
