Celina Mercer Chamber Highlights Upcoming Networking, Job Fair, And Community Events

The Celina Mercer County Chamber of Commerce is highlighting several upcoming opportunities for members and the community in its latest Chamber Connection update.

Chamber members planning to submit bulk mailings are being asked to do so before April 30th. The Chamber says it will not be available to process bulk mailings from May 1st through May 8th. Requests may resume on Monday, May 11th.

Mornings with the Chamber will be held Wednesday, April 29th. The networking event gives local business leaders a chance to hear about area initiatives and connect with other members. Versiti Blood Center will also share information on how businesses can establish a company blood drive, with donations benefiting the local hospital. OhioMeansJobs will host a Virtual Career Fair on Wednesday, May 13th, from 1 to 4 p.m. The event will use the Premier Virtual platform, allowing job seekers to browse participating employers by location and industry. Employer registration is open, with a booth registration deadline of Friday, May 6th.

The Mercer County District Library Friends of the Library Book Sale is also coming up. The sale will be held Friday, May 1st from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 2nd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is cash only, and Saturday will be bag sale day.

The Chamber Golf Outing is set for Friday, May 22nd at the Celina Lynx. Team registration, sponsorships, proximity sponsorships, and raffle prize donations are available. Proceeds will benefit Chamber programs and youth initiatives.
