Celina Moose Lodge, Veterans Forever Launch Monthly Free Meal Program for Veterans

CELINA — A new partnership between Veterans Forever and Celina Moose Lodge 1473 will provide veterans with at least one free meal each month at the local lodge.

According to information shared by the group and the event flyer, the monthly free meal day is open to valued veteran Moose members at Celina Moose Lodge 1473. Veterans who show their Valued Veterans Moose card can receive a free lunch or dinner, up to 15 dollars.

The next free meal day is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15th during kitchen hours from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Organizers say the program is part of a new effort to do more for local veterans and is just the beginning of the partnership between Veterans Forever and the Celina Moose Lodge.

Because the Moose is a membership club, veterans who are not yet members are also being encouraged to stop by. Veterans Forever says it will pay for a veteran’s first year of membership so they can take part in the monthly meal program.

Organizers say they hope the community will support Celina Moose Lodge 1473 as the group works to expand what it can offer local veterans.
