FORT RECOVERY COUNCIL APPROVES INVESTMENT POLICY, ADVANCES INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS
FORT RECOVERY — Village council approved a new investment policy and moved forward with a sidewalk maintenance program during its April 6 meeting, according to Village Administrator Aaron Rengers.
Council passed a resolution adopting the investment policy and completed the third and final reading of the sidewalk maintenance program.
Rengers said several infrastructure projects are also progressing. The village’s lagoon and wastewater study is nearing the 30% design phase, after which plans will advance toward construction.
The water plant project is currently under review by the Ohio EPA. Once that process is complete, village officials will conduct additional evaluation and prepare for the next phase.
Rengers added that upgrades are needed for the North Lane pump station, and the village is consulting with engineering firms to develop cost estimates.
The next Fort Recovery Village Council meeting is scheduled for April 20 at 7:30 p.m.
