Gas prices continue to climb in Ohio and across the country, with the national average now topping $4 per gallon.
According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of regular gas now stands at $4.02 after rising more than two cents from the previous day. That is more than a dollar higher than one month ago and marks the first time prices have reached that level since 2022.
In Ohio, drivers are paying slightly less than the national average, with the statewide average currently at $3.79 per gallon. The latest increase comes as tensions in the Middle East continue into a second month, adding more pressure to fuel markets.
