THE MERCER COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MET THURSDAY MORNING TO HANDLE ROUTINE BUSINESS AND A SERIES OF CONTRACTS AND PURCHASE REQUESTS.
ON THE CONSENT AGENDA, COMMISSIONERS APPROVED BILLS FOR DISTRIBUTION, SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION REQUESTS FROM THE COMMISSIONERS OFFICE, AND A SHERIFFS OFFICE TRAVEL ALLOWANCE REQUEST. COMMISSIONERS ALSO APPROVED A CONTRACT WITH WUEBKER DRAINAGE FOR THE STATE ROUTE 197 HOWICK ROAD TILE MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF [346,552.90], ISSUED A PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING YEARS OF SERVICE, AND AUTHORIZED A CHIP MORTGAGE RELEASE UNDER HUD GUIDELINES.
ON THE AGENDA, COMMISSIONERS CONSIDERED THE COUNTY ENGINEERS RECOMMENDATION TO ACCEPT A BID FROM RIGHT OF WAY MANAGEMENT FOR HERBICIDAL SPRAYING OF COUNTY MAINTAINED OPEN DITCHES IN THE AMOUNT OF [74,640.99].
COMMISSIONERS ALSO REVIEWED A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR 318 PORTLAND STREET IN CELINA AT AN ANNUAL RENT OF [13,200.00], AND PURCHASE REQUESTS INCLUDING A 2026 JEEP COMPASS LATITUDE QUOTED AT [29,353.00], A DUMP BODY AND ACCESSORIES TO UPFIT A NEW INTERNATIONAL H V TANDEM AXLE CHASSIS QUOTED AT [113,500.00] THROUGH SOURCEWELL, AND A MEDICAL CART FOR THE SHERIFFS OFFICE QUOTED AT [3,310.98].
