Mercer County grand jury indicts Fort Jennings man on felony protection order violation charge

A Mercer County grand jury has indicted Edward J. Sellers, 46, of Fort Jennings on one count of violating a protection order, a fifth degree felony.

According to the indictment filed February 19, 2026 in Mercer County Common Pleas Court, Sellers is accused of recklessly violating the terms of a protection order or consent agreement between December 30, 2025 and January 29, 2026.

The indictment also alleges Sellers has a prior conviction for violating a protection order, citing an October 25, 2024 case in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
