Fort Recovery Village Council held its regular meeting Monday, February 16, where members approved a pair of resolutions and an ordinance, and also recognized a longtime employee ahead of his retirement.
Village Administrator Aaron Rengers said council passed two resolutions, including one to appropriate and amend appropriations across funds, and another to transfer money from the general fund to the sewer improvement fund.
Council also approved an ordinance allowing the village administrator to maintain residency outside the village limits.
Rengers said council then heard project updates, including progress on the village wastewater study as it moves toward the 30 percent design stage, the water plant study now under review by the Ohio EPA, and work tied to the North Lane pump station.
Following the administrator’s report, council held a send off for Randy Diller during his final meeting. Diller’s official retirement date is February 28, 2026.
Fort Recovery Village Council’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2026.
