St. Henry Schools Superintendent Adam Puthoff says the district is excited to welcome WCSM back into the building as the station’s popular Back to School series returns to St. Henry.

Puthoff says the goal is to give the community a closer look at the people and programs that make St. Henry work, and to keep sharing positive stories happening throughout the schools.

As part of the week’s lineup, Puthoff says Head Baseball Coach and teacher Mike Gast will spotlight a new leadership class being offered this year as an elective. That conversation will also include a look at a variety of student activities, with students sharing their own experiences.

Puthoff says the series is a chance to provide an overview of the many good things going on at St. Henry Schools and to connect listeners with school leaders and student voices.

WCSM Back To School Series Heads To St. Henry Schools Feb. 17 Through Feb. 20

ST. HENRY, Ohio WCSM’s popular Back To School Series is back this month at St. Henry High School, featuring four days of guests and conversations that spotlight what’s happening across the district, from academics and student groups to athletics and behind the scenes operations.

Interviews are scheduled each day from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a mix of administrators, staff, and students joining the series.

Tuesday, Feb. 17

The week opens with Superintendent Adam Puthoff and Interim Athletic Director Greg Leeth. Guests also include the Leadership Class baseball group, Middle School Principal Kyle Kunk, and Maintenance with Matt Watercutter.

Wednesday, Feb. 18

Wednesday’s lineup features School Counselor Julie Overman, Monica Wehrley and the 8th Grade Book Club discussing podcasts, SHMS Student Council members with advisors, High School Principal Eric Rosenbeck, and a segment focused on Redskin Way Community Outreach and PBIS.

Thursday, Feb. 19

Thursday includes an Ag and FFA spotlight, an 8th grade DC trip segment with Derek Wilker and Wreath Layers, First Elementary Club Cup Stacking, and Elementary Principal Courtney Imwalle.

Friday, Feb. 20

Friday wraps the week with Superintendent Adam Puthoff and bus drivers, Treasurer Jenn Bruns, SHHS band members talking about the program, a segment with Kyle and the Lego Robotics team, and Science Club officers.

WCSM’s Back To School Series is designed to give the community a closer look at the people and programs that make St. Henry schools go, and to highlight the student groups building skills and leadership all year long.
