On February 9, 2026, Darke County Deputies responded to a two‑vehicle crash on U.S. Route 127 near Sebring Warner Road. Greenville Township Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a 1999 Dodge Ram truck, driven by Matthew Doyle, 39, of Celina, was traveling northbound in the southbound lane of U.S. 127. The Dodge Ram struck a 1990 Ford Ranger driven by Preston Wyka, 24, of Versailles. Both vehicles traveled off the right side of the roadway, and Mr. Doyle’s vehicle overturned onto its top.

Mr. Doyle and Mr. Wyka were transported to Wayne Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

This incident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
