LIA meeting to feature migratory birds program with Troy Shively on Feb. 7

Bird expert Troy Shively will be the featured speaker at this Saturday’s Lake Improvement Association meeting in Celina.

Organizers say Shively, who coordinates the Christmas Bird Counts at Grand Lake St. Marys and Indian Lake, will talk about migration patterns, including where local birds go and where they come from, along with other facts about Grand Lake’s migratory birds.

The public is invited to attend. The meeting will also include updates on lake improvement efforts, water quality, natural resources, and Grand Lake St. Marys State Park.

Doughnuts and coffee will be available. Those who cannot attend in person can watch the meeting via livestream on the LIA Facebook page.
