Mercer County Grand Jury Indicts Two Women on Felony Drug Charges
Two women are facing felony drug charges following indictments handed down by a Mercer County grand jury.
Court records show Tasha N. Cornwell, 42, was indicted during the January 15, 2026 term of Mercer County Common Pleas Court. Cornwell is charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Prosecutors allege that on or about August 14, 2025, Cornwell knowingly possessed or used a Schedule I or II controlled substance, identified in the indictment as oxycodone.
Cornwell’s case is filed under Case No. 26-CRM-002. She was indicted on one count, and the grand jury returned a true bill.
In a separate case, Madison E. Stant, 23, of Fort Loramie, was also indicted by the Mercer County grand jury. Stant is charged with possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony, under Case No. 26-CRM-007.
According to the indictment, Stant is accused of knowingly possessing heroin on or about October 11, 2025, in Mercer County.
Both indictments were filed on January 15, 2026, and signed by Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney Erin M. Minor or her assistant. The cases are now pending in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
