CHP Home Care & Hospice Hosting “Pins for Patients” Bowling Fundraiser in Celina

CELINA, Ohio — CHP Home Care & Hospice is inviting the community to enjoy an afternoon of bowling while supporting local hospice care through its upcoming Pins for Patients fundraiser.

The family-friendly event will be held Saturday, January 24, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Plaza Lanes, 114 East Forest Street in Celina.

According to Alycen Urban, Marketer and Event Coordinator for CHP Home Care & Hospice, the event is designed to raise money for the organization’s Patient Care Fund, which helps ensure hospice services are available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.

The cost to participate is $20 per bowler, or $100 to fill a lane for up to 6 bowlers. The fee includes 2 games of bowling, shoe rental, 1 door prize ticket, and entry to win cash prizes.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 2 adult bowlers, who will each receive $100, and the top scorer age 12 and under, who will receive $50, with youth winnings placed into the SHARE program.

Urban said 100% of the proceeds from the event will directly support local hospice patient care. CHP Home Care & Hospice does not turn anyone away from hospice services due to an inability to pay.

Participants are encouraged to register by January 18 at comhealthpro.org/events. Concessions and refreshments will be available for purchase during the event.
