The following is a Press Release from the Celina Fire Department:
On Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 10:34 a.m., the Celina Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in a mobile home at 5057 Mud Pike in Celina. Coldwater Fire Department was also dispatched on automatic mutual aid. Upon arrival, crews observed a working fire with heavy smoke and fire venting from the front door and windows.

One resident who was home at the time of the incident was transported by Celina/Mercer county EMS for treatment of injuries sustained during the event.
The home sustained heavy damage, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. However, no foul play is suspected at this time. The State Fire Marshal has been contacted to assist with the investigation.
Approximately 14 firefighters from Celina and 12 firefighters from Coldwater responded to the incident. The Celina Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Celina Police Department, Mercer County Sheriffs Department, Mercer County Dog Warden, and MSERV
