Colby Lee Swift Announced as Opening Act for the 2026 Auglaize County Fair Concert

WAPAKONETA, OH – The Auglaize County Fair Board is thrilled to announce that rising country artist Colby Lee Swift will open for Craig Morgan at the 2026 Auglaize County Fair Concert, set for Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the grandstands. With his deep-rooted traditional country sound and authentic, heartfelt lyrics, Colby Lee Swift is quickly carving out a place for himself in today’s country music scene. Born and raised on a ranch in Midfield, Texas, Swift’s passion for classic country storytelling often draws comparisons to Johnny Cash. His sound is influenced by Texas legends like George Strait and John Conlee.

Swift began playing guitar at just five years old, started singing at 15, and took the stage for the first time at 17. His recent single, “Quit A Long Time Ago,” released on September 12 under Hollow Point Records, follows a series of successful tracks—including “Can’t Outrun the Heartache,” “John Deere Rust,” “Money To Drank,” and “Chaser.” The latter peaked at #18 on the Texas Regional Radio Chart in 2024, drawing attention from William Morris Endeavor Entertainment and BMG Publishing. Swift has also collaborated with acclaimed producer Brent Rader and continues to perform across the country, appearing both live and on national television.

Fair officials say Swift’s addition marks an exciting shift in the concert lineup.
