Coldwater Council Approves Park Ordinance, Prepares for Major 2026 Street Projects

Coldwater Village Council moved through a brief agenda this week, including final approval of new rules governing village parks. Village Manager Jason Eyink said council held the third and final reading of Ordinance 1765, which regulates park operations throughout the community.

Eyink also reported on the Finance Committee’s early look at 2026 budget priorities, which include two major road projects. He said the village plans to pave 2nd Street next year and is hoping to move forward with improvements on Terrace Avenue as well.

Council appointed Dylan Schwieterman to the Housing Committee and also set upcoming committee meetings. The Housing Committee will meet December 1 at 5 p.m., and the Finance Committee will meet December 8 at 6:15 p.m.
