On November 21, 2025 at approximately 2:52 p.m. Darke County Deputies along with North  Star Fire and Ansonia Rescue, responded to the 14,300 block of US Route 127 for a two-vehicle minor injury crash.

 

Investigation revealed a 2023 red/tan Peterbilt semi tractor-trailer driven by Devin Schoenlein 21, of Coldwater was northbound on US 127 slowing down in traffic to almost a stop, when his trailer was rear-ended by a 1999 white Volvo feed truck, driven by Mitchell Regedanz 20, of Celina.

 

Regedanz was transported to Mercer Health Hospital for minor injuries and Schoenlein was uninjured.
