Celina City Council Sets November 24 Agenda for Regular Meeting

The Celina City Council will hold its regular meeting on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at 225 North Main Street.

The meeting will begin with roll call, acceptance of the agenda, and approval of minutes from the November 10 session. Council will then hear reports from the Personnel and Finance Committee, covering their meetings held on November 10 and November 17.

Audience communications will follow before council moves into legislative business.

Three items return for a second reading:
• 41-25-O — an ordinance to make appropriations for 2026 operating expenses and other city expenditures.
• 42-25-O — an ordinance authorizing the Safety-Service Director to advertise for bids and enter contracts for 2026 city projects and capital equipment.
• 43-25-O — an ordinance allowing the Safety-Service Director to advertise for bids and enter contracts for materials, services, and supplies needed in 2026. This ordinance was amended on November 10.

Under old business for a third reading, council will consider:
• 40-25-O, an ordinance establishing the annual salary of the Clerk of Council.

The meeting will conclude with administrative reports, time for comments “for the good of the order,” and adjournment.
