Coldwater Council Reviews Park Regulations, Fire Agreement, and Upcoming Projects
Coldwater Village Manager Jason Eyink says council handled several items during this week’s Village Council meeting.
Eyink reported that council held the first reading of Ordinance 1765, which updates regulations governing the operation of all village parks. The previous ordinance only covered Memorial Park, leaving out the small park on the east end of town and the Corridor Nature Preserve Park.
Council also approved the first and final reading of Ordinance 1766, authorizing the village to continue providing fire protection services for Butler Township.
In other business, Eyink noted that bids for the 2026 Second Street project are scheduled to open on November 5th, and a Finance Committee meeting has been set for November 10th to discuss the 2026 budget.
