32 year old Travis Heistan of Celina was sentenced to 30 days in jail and given 5 years of probation after pleading guilty to to one count of sexual imposition, a third-degree misdemeanor. Heistan received his sentence friday in Mercer County Common Pleas Court. Heistan was also labeled a Tier 1 sex offender, meaning he will have to register his address with law enforcement for 15 years. Heistan pleaded guilty to this charge last month as part of a plea agreement. Heistan was originally indicted on charges of rape and gross sexual imposition stemming from a 2024 case involving a victim under the age of 12.
