79-YEAR-OLD GUS BLAVOS ENTERED A GUILTY PLEA THE DAY HIS TRIAL WAS SET TO BEGIN. BLAVOS HIT AND KILLED CASSANDRA FEAR BACK IN DECEMBER AS SHE WAS EXITING HER VEHICLE, ON WEST 130TH STREET. SHE WAS THE OWNER OF "FEAR'S CONFECTIONS" IN LAKEWOOD FOR 13 YEARS, UNTIL IT CLOSED IN FEBRUARY 2023. BLAVOS WAS SENTENCED TO 18 MONTHS PROBATION ON EACH COUNT, AND WILL HAVE HIS LICENSE SUSPENDED UNTIL DECEMBER 16TH 2028.
