2021 Fort Recovery High School Prom

2021 Fort Recovery Junior/Senior Prom

will be held on Friday, April 23rd. The junior class is working hard to make the 2021 Fort Recovery High School Prom, The Land of the Rising Sun, a memorable, enjoyable, and SAFE event.

The promenade will begin at 6:00 pm as usual. Doors will open to the public at 5:30 pm. Fort Recovery High School will be following the CDC guidelines and ask that all visitors wear a mask, and social distance by sitting in the marked areas. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are allowing 25% capacity in the gymnasium for the promenade. Each student attending prom will get approximately 4-5 vouchers depending on our final RSVP count. This year we ask that all visitors please enter and exit through the Commons Entrance only.  We will be asking for donations at the door this year to help with the costs of prom.

Congratulations to the 2021 prom court candidates! The queen candidates are Ashlyn Bechtol, Kendra Dues, Paige Fortkamp, Alli Vaughn, and Kierra Wendel. The king candidates are Dillan Evers, Russell Gehle, Derek Jutte, Owen Moorman, and Gavin Thobe.

A formal dinner will be served to the students at Romer’s Catering in St. Henry at 7:30 pm.  The dance, which will also be at Romer’s, will start at 8:15 pm and end at 11:00 pm.  With the help of the chaperones and the Fort Recovery Police Department, we are hoping for a safe Prom.

A special thanks go out to the Jr Class Officers & Sr Class Officers, Mr. Tony Stahl, Mrs. Cheryl Wenning, HS Staff, and the Administration for their continuing support in preparation for prom.  Both classes have gone above and beyond to prepare for a wonderful prom as a salute to the seniors and we hope that everyone will find it truly memorable.
