03/30/26 - MVP Dairy Visits White House
Local agricultural leader Allison Ryan recently attended a major celebration at the White House to cap off National Ag Week. The day was specifically dedicated to recognizing the agricultural industry and the hard-working people who help feed the world.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to hear directly from President Trump and Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins. Both leaders took the time to highlight their ongoing work in the agricultural sector, making it clear to attendees that the industry has been, and will continue to be, a top priority for them.
For Ryan, the national recognition was deeply personal. She grew up on a local dairy farm and has spent nearly 20 years working in the Ohio dairy industry. Ryan shared that representing the dairy community at such a high-level event meant a great deal to her. Ultimately, she noted that the experience strongly reinforces how the agricultural work being done locally truly matters on a much larger scale.
