Renee Kramer named New Knoxville’s new 6–12 principal

New Knoxville School has announced the hiring of Renee Kramer as its new principal for grades six through 12.

Kramer brings more than 20 years of experience in education, including work as an educational aide, tutor, intervention specialist, assistant principal and high school principal.

She most recently served as principal of Celina High School. Kramer had worked at Celina High School since 2010 and was promoted from assistant principal to principal in July 2021.

During her time in Celina, Kramer led initiatives focused on student achievement, school culture and preparing students for graduation. New Knoxville officials said she has demonstrated a strong commitment to instructional leadership and building positive relationships with students, employees, families and the surrounding community.

Kramer earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Miami University, two master’s degrees from Wright State University and her administrative licensure from the University of Dayton.

She has also received the Franklin B. Walter Outstanding Educator Award and has a long history of serving students and families inside and outside the classroom.

Kramer and her husband live in Celina and have two children. She said she is excited to join the New Knoxville community and begin meeting the district’s students, staff members and families.
