MVP Dairy Featured in New Blippi and Meekah Episode Showcasing Modern Dairy Farming

CELINA — Millions of children and their families are getting an inside look at modern dairy farming thanks to a new educational episode of Blippi and Meekah filmed at MVP Dairy in Celina.

The episode, created through a partnership between Danimals and Moonbug Entertainment, follows the popular children's entertainers as they search for missing yogurt while learning how milk travels from the farm to become yogurt. Along the way, they're guided by "Farmer Allison," portrayed by MVP Dairy Director of Marketing and Communications Allison Ryan.

Ryan said the opportunity came about because a portion of the milk produced at MVP Dairy is used to make Danimals yogurt.

"Actually, we were approached because a portion of our milk produced here at MVP Dairy goes into making Danimals yogurt," Ryan said. "Danone, the company behind Danimals, was looking for a farm that could help tell the story of where that milk comes from. Because education and transparency are such a big part of our mission, it made sense for MVP to be involved."

Ryan said the project also offered a unique opportunity to educate families about the food production process.

"It was a great opportunity to show families the basics of how milk gets from the farm to the grocery store in a really unique, fun and engaging way," she said.

Throughout the episode, Blippi and Meekah learn how crops become nutritious feed for dairy cows, see how farmers care for their animals each day, observe the milking process and follow milk as it leaves the farm to be transformed into yogurt.

"Every day, we welcome visitors to our on-farm Dairy Learning Center because we believe the best way to understand agriculture is to experience it firsthand," Ryan said in a news release. "Working with Blippi and the team allowed us to extend that experience far beyond our farm, giving millions of children and parents an authentic look at modern dairy farming and helping them better understand where their food comes from."

Blippi said filming at MVP Dairy was an unforgettable experience.

"Visiting a real dairy farm was such an awesome adventure," he said. "I had so much fun learning how yogurt is made, and I can't wait for kids and families to watch the episode with us and discover something new."

Meekah said she hopes the episode inspires children to keep asking questions.

"From meeting Farmer Allison to seeing how yogurt goes from the farm to your fridge, there was so much to learn," she said.

MVP Dairy ships its milk to Danone's manufacturing facility in nearby Minster, where it is transformed into products including Danimals yogurt. While the dairy's on-site Learning Center hosts thousands of visitors each year, Ryan said the Blippi partnership allows the farm's educational mission to reach millions of viewers across the country.
