Grand Lake Regional ESC Board Accepts $100,000 Donation


 

The governing board of the Grand Lake Regional Educational Service Center has accepted a $100,000 donation from Roessner Fabrication, LLC.

The donation was approved during the board’s July meeting, along with the organization’s 2026 fees and services and its 2027 insurance rates.

The board also approved several personnel moves for the 2026-27 school year. Ayron McClurg was hired as a case manager, while Brittany Green was hired as a curriculum coordinator.

Additional hires included Brooklyn Wycuff as a preschool paraprofessional, Amy Middleton as a preschool itinerant teacher, Leah Koesters as a general education teacher, Chad Dunsdon as a paraprofessional and Lydia Bubp as a gifted intervention specialist.

The board accepted the resignations of Heidi DeMange, Dianna Gerlach, Alyssa Filadelfo and Raegan Hardin.

June expenditures totaled approximately $722,972, while revenue totaled more than $1.3 million. The organization reported an unencumbered fund balance of approximately $2.15 million.

Superintendent Shelly Vaughn also provided updates on the organization’s August 11 opening day and the continuing transition from the Mercer County ESC name to Grand Lake Regional ESC.

The next regular board meeting is scheduled for August 17 at 7 p.m. at the ESC office on East Market Street in Celina.
