The Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce is thanking the community following another successful Taste of Celina Block Party.

Chamber President Stacy Beougher said the weather cooperated Friday night and a strong crowd turned out to support local restaurants.

Beougher said the evening also featured live entertainment, a kids zone and other family activities, and credited community support for helping the event run smoothly.

The event also included the new Duck Drop Raffle, which benefited youth initiatives and scholarships.

Organizers said they are already looking forward to next year’s event.
