CELINA, OHIO: The Immaculate Conception Festival returns to Celina Friday and Saturday, July 17 and 18, with food, games, live music, family activities and several major fundraisers.

Festival Auction Chairman Matt Heckler said organizers expect to have eight large rides available during this year’s festival. The rides are being sponsored by the Celina Moose and Celina Eagles, allowing children to ride for free throughout the weekend.

Heckler said this is the first year all of the festival rides will be completely free. The two organizations wanted to support the festival and give children an opportunity to enjoy the rides at no cost.

The festival’s live auction begins at 5:30 p.m. Friday, followed by live music from Shifley Road. The Prize Parade drawing will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, with 30 prizes available, including cash, gift cards, vacations, furniture, a golf cart and a new vehicle.

Money raised during the festival supports religious education and youth programs at Immaculate Conception. Food, games and family activities will be available throughout the weekend.
