Minster Board of Education to Consider Bus Routes, Athletic Ticket Prices at Monday Meeting

The Minster Local Schools Board of Education will meet Monday, July 13, at 7 p.m. in the Elementary Large Group Meeting Room.

Board members are expected to recognize students, hear reports from district administrators, booster organizations, and curriculum and instruction officials before considering a number of action items.

Among the items on the consent agenda are adopting athletic ticket prices for the 2026-2027 school year, approving bus routes, authorizing the superintendent to waive or reduce fees for qualifying families, adding drone coverage to the district's risk insurance policy, and approving routine financial business.

Under new business, the board is scheduled to consider adding two additional vacation days for specified 12-month classified employees, approving a resolution declaring transportation impractical for certain students and offering payment in lieu of transportation, conducting a first reading of revised board policies, and acting on personnel recommendations.

The agenda also includes an executive session to discuss the employment and compensation of a public employee, the purchase or sale of property, and security arrangements and emergency response protocols. Any official action is expected to take place after the board returns to open session.
