West Ohio Pond Clinic Set For July 30th Near Celina

Ohio State Extension in Mercer and Auglaize Counties will host the West Ohio Pond Clinic on Thursday, July 30th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The hands-on clinic is designed to help pond owners learn how to better evaluate, maintain, and enjoy their ponds. Topics will include water quality, aquatic plants and algae, fish and wildlife management, and common pond maintenance challenges.

The clinic will be held at the pond at Eden Haven Park, located in the 8800 block of Hellwarth Road, northwest of Celina. Picnic tables will be available, but attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.

Speakers will include Jacob Winters, Auglaize County ANR Educator; Ryan McMichael, Mercer County ANR Educator; and Ariel Hein, Mercer County Soil and Water Conservation District Director.

There is no cost to attend.
