Road Construction Projects Planned In Van Wert

The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced upcoming road construction work in Van Wert.

John Brown Road will be closed from Monday, July 13th through Thursday, July 30th for the construction of a restricted crossing U-turn.

During that time, U.S. Route 30 will be restricted to one lane in each direction.

ODOT also says another project will begin August 1st at the intersection of U.S. Route 224 and Lincoln Highway. That intersection will close for the construction of a roundabout.

U.S. Route 224 will also be closed between Route 30 and Lincoln Highway for rehabilitation work on the railroad bridge.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution in the construction areas.
