The Celina City Schools Board of Education will meet Monday, June 29th, at 6 PM in the Tri Star Career Compact Star Room.

The agenda includes reports from CEA Co-Presidents Cheri Hall and Tressie Sigmond, OAPSE President Kent Wicker, Facilities Director Phil Metz, Head Start Director Amy Esser and Superintendent Brooke Gessler.

Under the treasurer’s report, the board is scheduled to review May financial reports, including revenues of more than $3.1 million and expenditures of more than $8.4 million. The district’s cash reconciliation report shows a balance of more than $62.4 million as of May 31st, with more than $31.3 million connected to the building project.

The board is also scheduled to consider a contract with PT Services Rehabilitation for athletic trainer services, several donations, insurance coverage for Celina City Schools and Tri Star, and change orders tied to the 7-12 building project.

Under the superintendent’s report, the board will consider personnel items, stipend payments, 2026-27 lunch and breakfast prices, bus routes, athletic worker and substitute pay scales, school fees and student handbooks.

The agenda also includes adoption of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and a first reading of several transportation-related board policies.

In Tri Star business, the board is scheduled to consider the purchase of a lot on Heron Drive in Celina for a future Tri Star house.
