Celina Woman Sentenced In Domestic Violence And Cocaine Case
A Celina woman has been sentenced in Mercer County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty to domestic violence and cocaine possession charges.
According to the court, 52-year-old Denise Bruns was sentenced to two years of community control sanctions.
The case stems from a February domestic dispute at a home on West Riley Street in Celina. According to court records, deputies said Bruns came outside carrying a knife when they arrived, but dropped it when ordered to do so.
Authorities also reported finding a baggie in her cigarette package containing a white substance that later field tested positive for cocaine.
Bruns was previously convicted of domestic violence in 2023 in Celina Municipal Court.
