Purple Heart Support Cards To Benefit Veterans Foundation And Museum Of St. Marys

Community members are being invited to show their support for Purple Heart recipients through a Purple Heart Support Card campaign.

The cards are available for $5 and will be displayed in the windows of local businesses and offices.

The effort is tied to National Purple Heart Day, which is observed on August 7th, and is designed to honor the men and women who were wounded or killed while serving the country.

All proceeds from the sponsorship of a card will support the Veterans Foundation and Museum of St. Marys.

The campaign encourages residents to buy a card, make a difference and support local veterans.
