Celina Board Of Education To Hold Special Meeting Tonight


The Celina City Board of Education is scheduled to hold a special meeting tonight, Thursday, May 28th.

The meeting is set for 5:00 p.m. in the second floor conference room at the Celina City Schools Education Complex, located at 585 East Livingston Street in Celina.

According to the agenda, board members are expected to discuss the 2026-27 school calendar. One item listed would have no students in session from January 19th through January 22nd of 2027 to complete the early move for grades 7 through 12.

The agenda also includes time for public participation. According to the board’s posted agenda, a maximum of 30 minutes will be allowed for public participation, with each speaker limited to three minutes.

The agenda also includes an executive session under Ohio Revised Code 121.22(G). The listed purposes for the executive session are employment and compensation matters involving a public employee or official.
