St. Marys Library Hosting Echoes of 1776 Presentation


The St. Marys Community Public Library will host a special history presentation next month focused on family connections to the American Revolution.

The program, titled Echoes of 1776: 4th Through 6th Great Grandfathers in the War for Independence, will feature Bill Huber on Monday, June 22nd at 6 p.m.

Huber will discuss 14 direct ancestors who were a part of the American Revolution. The presentation will also include tips and tricks for those interested in genealogy research.

James Cooper, President of the Centennial Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, will also take part in the program. Cooper will show and discuss the Betsy Ross Flag as part of the evening.

The St. Marys Community Public Library is located at 140 South Chestnut Street.
