Celina Man Facing Felony Vandalism Charge After Mercer County Incident
A Celina man is facing charges in Mercer County Common Pleas Court following an alleged incident on May 16th.
According to court documents, Aaron M. Livingston is charged with vandalism, a fifth degree felony, and criminal damaging or endangering, a second degree misdemeanor.
The complaint alleges Livingston knowingly caused serious physical harm to an occupied structure or its contents. He is also accused of damaging a cellular phone without consent.
According to an affidavit filed with the complaint, a Mercer County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on State Route 703 to investigate damage to a home. The affidavit says Livingston allegedly became angry during an argument, threw items inside the home, took a phone outside and threw it at a tree.
The affidavit also alleges Livingston damaged the front door and downspouting, then drove his truck toward the home, hitting a lawn mower and pushing it into the front steps and residence.
An initial estimate listed damage to the dwelling at approximately $1,100.
Livingston later left the scene, but was located a short time later during a traffic stop and taken into custody for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, according to the affidavit.
