Fort Recovery Man Facing Felony Charges in Mercer County Common Pleas Court


A Fort Recovery man is facing felony charges in Mercer County Common Pleas Court after being indicted in case number 26 CRM 037.

According to court and booking records, 48 year old Jeremy Edward Hague was booked on May 15th, 2026 by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.

Court documents show Hague was indicted by a Mercer County Grand Jury on April 16th, 2026.

The indictment lists two counts. Count one charges Hague with failure to provide notice of change of address, a first degree felony. Prosecutors allege that on or about February 23rd, 2026, Hague failed to notify the sheriff of a change of address as required due to registration requirements tied to a previous aggravated sexual assault conviction from Texas.

Count two charges Hague with violating a protection order, a fifth degree felony. Prosecutors allege the violation happened on or about March 26th, 2026. The indictment states Hague had previously been convicted, pleaded guilty to, or been adjudicated delinquent for a protection order related offense in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.

A warrant on indictment was filed in the case. Online booking information lists Hague as awaiting a court hearing, with no bond listed.
