Greenville Woman Facing Felony Drug Possession Charge After May 16th Booking

A Greenville woman is facing a felony drug possession charge in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.

According to court documents, Elizabeth M. Craw is charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony. The complaint alleges the drug involved was methamphetamine.

An affidavit filed in the case says a Celina Police officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle fail to properly signal and fail to stop behind the stop bar at a stop sign near North Ash Street and East Blake Street in Celina.

According to the affidavit, a K9 was brought to the scene and alerted to the presence of drugs. A small bag was located during the investigation, and a field test was conducted on the contents. The affidavit states the substance tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed approximately two grams.

A state bond request listed bond at $50,000 with conditions including no alcohol or drugs of abuse, random testing, participation in the probation department’s drug screening call in program, and no violations of federal, state or local laws.

Court documents also show a warrant was issued and later returned after Craw was arrested on May 18th.
