St. Henry School Board Approves Donations, Contracts And Personnel Moves

The St. Henry Board of Education met this week in the High School Media Center.

Superintendent Adam Puthoff reviewed several district projects and thanked bus mechanic Vic Hemelgarten for his work with the district’s transportation department. Puthoff said Hemelgarten plays an important role in keeping the school bus fleet safe and available.

Graduation is also approaching for St. Henry Schools. The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, May 24th, at 1:30 p.m. in the Middle School Gym.

Board members also approved handbooks for the high school, middle school and elementary school, along with service agreements with the Mercer County ESC for the 2026 2027 school year. The board also approved an assistive technology contract with SSD6 and a service agreement with the Northwest Ohio Area Computer Service Cooperative through June of 2029.

Personnel action included approving Lauren Timmerman on a three year administrative contract as elementary principal beginning August 1st. The board also approved Jenny Stammen on a one year teacher contract to teach kindergarten, summer cleaning help, and several fall and winter coaches for the 2026 2027 school year.

New coaches approved include Logan Lefeld and Dan Lange as assistant football coaches, Curt Woeste as eighth grade boys basketball coach, and Jessica Hilsman as middle school cheer coach.

The board also approved a three year administrative contract for Adam Puthoff as superintendent.

The board entered executive session for employment purposes, but no action was taken afterward.

The next St. Henry Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17th, at 5 p.m. in the High School Media Center.
