Two Charged In Mercer County Drug Cases Following Celina Traffic Stop

Two people are facing drug related charges in Mercer County Common Pleas Court following a traffic stop in Celina.

According to court complaints, Amy M. Sthilaire of Norfolk, New York, and Michael K. Rentfrow of Bowling Green, Kentucky, are each charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth degree misdemeanor.

The complaints list the alleged offense date as May 8th in Mercer County.

According to affidavits from the Celina Police Department, an officer conducted a traffic stop near North Sugar Street. The affidavits state a K 9 from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office later alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics.

Court documents allege that during a search, officers found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The affidavits state both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Mercer County Detention Facility.

The cases were filed May 11th in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
