Woman Charged With Felonious Assault In Mercer County

A woman is facing felony and misdemeanor assault charges in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.

According to court documents, 20-year-old Alcy A. Louis is charged with one count of felonious assault, a second degree felony, and one count of assault, a first degree misdemeanor.

The complaint states the alleged offenses happened on or about May 9th in Mercer County.

According to an affidavit from the Coldwater Police Department, officers were called to 911 North Seventh Street in Coldwater for a report involving a possibly unconscious female who may have been assaulted.

The affidavit states officers found one alleged victim on the floor and later spoke with the defendant. Court documents allege Louis admitted to pulling the victim’s hair and kicking her during the physical altercation.

The second charge involves an allegation that Louis caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a second victim.

A warrant was issued in the case and was returned as executed on May 11th. A state bond request listed a financial amount of $150,000, subject to 10 percent, along with conditions including no contact with the alleged victims, no alcohol or drugs, and other restrictions.

The case remains pending in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
